The ageing population in the world is becoming more and more serious. At present, most nursing homes or medical institutions recruit “therapeutic assistants” or “rehabilitation assistants” to cope with the demand for physical therapy and occupational therapy. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy or rehabilitation assistant has become a popular occupational. These positions do not require night shifts, the duties are not offensive, the prospects are ideal, and the entry barriers are not high. Since this course covers occupational therapy and physiotherapy knowledge, enrolling in this course can increase the advantages of employment, further studies and increase the confidence of caregivers to assist the elderly rehabilitation. 世界人口老化問題愈趨嚴重， 現時大部分護理院舍或醫療機構多以招聘「治療助理」或「復康助理」以應付供不應求的物理治療及職業治療工作。 入職「治療助理」或「復康助理」成為熱門職業，原因是工作不需輪夜班、 工序非厭惡性 、 前景理想及入職門檻不高。 由於此課程涵蓋職業治療及物理治療知識， 入讀此課程可增加受聘的優勢及增加照顧者協助長者復康的信心。
